 TAX FILING Season is upon us!   If you earned income during the calendar year 2014, you are required to file income tax forms to the Internal Revenue Service under  the same tax laws that U.S. Citizens must follow.  The tax filing deadline is April 15, 2015.

1.  We hold a regular DACA legal seminar each semester in which DACA students can ask questions about DACA related legal issues.   This semester, it was held on Monday,  April 6 at 3:30-4:30 and presented by guest speaker, Attorney Dan Berger.     Dan Berger discussed general DACA issues including DACA renewals and travel abroad.

The White House announced that beginning November 12, 2014, visas for Chinese students and scholars in F1/F2 or J1/J2 status will be extended from 12 months to 60 months.  Visas for B1/B2 Visitors will be extended to ten years.
