Rose Flynn has been named the new Associate Director for International Scholars, effective June 1, 2021. She joined the Davis International Center as an Immigration Specialist in 2018. Prior to her time at Princeton she supported international interns and trainees who participate in exchange programs at U.S. -based companies for several years and developed expertise in the J-1 exchange visitor visa program. Rose holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from American University and a Master’s degree in International Educational Development from Teachers College, Columbia University. She studied abroad in Brazil, has volunteered in Colombia and has traveled extensively in Latin America and Western Europe. In the Associate Director role, she will manage the day-to-day operational activities of the international scholar advising services, provide backup support to the student advising services as well as provide strategic leadership on a broad of range of issues. Rose will be reporting to Tayla R. Burns, Deputy Director of the Davis International Center.
