Food is an important facet of all cultures. Transitioning to the American diet can be a huge adjustment. Not only are the flavors different, but so are the portions, amount of waste, and the way in which we eat and share meals. During this Tea and Talk, we will explore food as it relates to our cultures and our experiences as we’ve adjusted to food in the U.S.
NOTE: If you would like, you can write down a recipe for a traditional dish from your culture, and we will distribute all of the recipes that are shared with the other Tea and Talk attendees.
Tea & Talk is an informal weekly discussion group designed for international students, scholars and spouses – focused on issues that are common for adjusting to life in the U.S. and the Princeton campus culture. A light lunch will be served at each program. First come/First served.
