Aparna Shankar '2021

Hi everyone! My name is Aparna Shankar, and I am a junior born and raised in (and unusually
enthusiastic about) New Delhi, India. At Princeton, I am majoring in the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs (a very long name for what every other University calls public policy),
with a certificate in French Language and Culture. On campus, apart from working as a student
leader with the Davis Center, I compete with the Model UN team, serve as Chair of the student
government Committee on Diversity and Equity, and am a Fellow for the Carl A. Fields Center.
Beyond this, I love chocolate, dance, and anyone that uses Celsius instead of Fahrenheit—and am
always excited to meet people that share any of my interests.
